SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

"Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. -Wikipedia

At RAPID SEO & Webmarketing we employ a "holistic" approach to SEO. This involves on-page Search Engine Optimization such as HTML optimization, Site Structure and File Optimization, Key Word and Key Phrase Optimization, Content Optimization, Link Optimization, Referrer Association and Optimization and Site Personalization. In addition, off-page Search Engine Optimization factors such as Social Media, Link Building, Link Targeting and Article Distrubution increase the likelyhood of links to your site and therefore your standing in Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. We will also create an xml site map for your site and submit it to Google on your behalf.

We use only long lasting White Hat techniques which have been approved by Google, rather than the short term Black Hat techniques which you may be suspended or even banned from Google search results for using.

By optimizing your site for Google, we automatically optimize your site for other search engines as well, since they all follow the same basic principals. Google is more advanced and hence, the #1 engine, so we conform to their higher standard.

And YES, we do take over Website SEO Contracts if your current webmasters are not providing the service you are paying them for.

SEO, unlike PPC (Pay Per Click) and other paid forms of advertising takes a long term commitment. Google looks at the content of your site for relevance to the search term, the amount of links to your pages and where they come from, the age of your domain, the relevant position of key words and many other factors. That said, the click through ratio of a well placed organic link out-performs a sponsored link by more than 20 to 1.

Getting on the first two pages in Google is actually quite easy. Many companies claim to guarantee a #1 ranking. I could do that too, but I'd be deceiving you. The catch is that the key phrase that you will rank high for is not the one people are searching for. Eg: just say you sell dog kennels in Sydney. The popular search term is "dog kennels sydney". So I aim your site for "melanies sydney dog kennels". Unfortunately, only 5 people are searching for "melanies sydney dog kennels" per month and are most likely already your customers. The other 282,000 are searching for "dog kennels sydney". I know the example is simplistic, but you get the idea. No matter how much spin you put on it, there are no guarantees of a first page for a competitive term and no superfast way to get results. It takes hard work and a decent time commitment. Or some questionable tactics that a few of the larger SEO companies have been penalized for lately.
